Ms. Brenda Weston Scott, 69, of Eastover, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at her residence. Born in Hopkins, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late, JD Sumter and Janie Elizabeth Weston Smith.
Left to cherish many fond memories; one daughter, Candis (Tyrone) McGee, of Greenville, SC; three sons, Charlie Weston (Carissa), Tyrone (Tamika) Scott, and Bryant Scott, all of Columbia SC; three sisters, Betty Wilson,of Hopkins, SC, Theodosia (Jimmy) Perry,of Columbia SC; and Linda Broden, of Detroit MI; one brother; Tyrone (Deidra) Weston, of Saginaw MI; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services: Thursday, November 9, 2023, 12:00noon, at Temple of Faith Bibleway Church, 2850 Congaree Rd., Gadsden, SC, with interment in Serenity Memorial Gardens, Columbia SC.
The family will be receiving friends at the daughter home, Candis McGee, at 10 Backwater Way, Greenville, SC, 29611.
