Betty Mansell

.Mrs. Betty Jean Mansell, 75, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital-Downtown. She was a daughter of the late James Woody and Rosalie Jenkins Hawthorne.

She was a faithful member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church, where she served in the Mother’s Ministry, Senior Choir and Usher Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Lewis Fred Hawthorne; her husband, Ralph Mansell, Jr.; and two sisters, Sarah Fountain and Annie Pearl Brown.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are one daughter, Sharon Mansell of Greenville; one son, Jason Mansell of Greenville; a special son, Kendrick McClellan of Greenville; one sister, Eula “Tina” Feiner of Los Angeles, CA; a niece, Sherry (Anthony) Kidd of Los Angeles, CA; a devoted cousin, Shirley Tarrant of Greenville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
