Bernice Washington

Ms. Bernice “Bean” Washington, 78, of Lyman transitioned Monday, September 28, 2026, at Pelham Medical Center. Born in Louisville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Homer and Alice Mae “Dooda” Brown Washington.

Surviving: one daughter, TeKeisha Tyambra Washington of Simpsonville, SC; three sisters, Dorothy Davis of Manhattan, NY, Diane “Ann” of Hendersonville, NC, and Louise (David) Haynes of Raleigh, NC; one brother, Johnny (Kathleen) Washington of Fletcher, NC; two grandchildren, Kailei Washington and Kelsei Washington, both of Greer, SC; six great grandchildren, Karsyn “Kar-Kar” Washington, Kaidynce Washington, Kaidyn Washington, Khaiyri Washington, and Kaisei Washington, all of Greer, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
