Mrs. Bernice Simpson, 78, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023. She was the daughter of the late James Edward and Maggie Moorehead Sligh.
She was married to Robert Lewis Simpson for 53 years.
Surviving: In addition to her husband; one sister, Cleo (Ben) Valentine of Easley, SC; two brothers, Joseph (Mary) Sligh and Donald “Donney” (Tracy) Sligh, both of Greenville, SC; God-children, Andre’, Maurice and Stacy Sligh; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, July 9, 2023, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
