Bernice Jones

Mrs. Bernice Evans “Bern” Jones, 63, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Greenville Health System. She was a daughter of the late Pearlie Evans and was raised by the late Bernie Evans.

She was preceded in death by a brother, George Evans; two uncles, Johnny Robinson and John Henry Robinson; three aunts, Drucilla Robinson, Gertrude Burton and Eddis Lee Dixon.

Left to cherish many memories are her daughters, Dena Jones and Lekisha Jones, both of Greenville, SC; one son, Harold Jones, Jr., of Hendersonville, NC; two sisters, Brenda Evans and Pearl Evans of Brooklyn, NY; five brothers, John Evans, Donald Evans, Gregory Evans, Daryl Evans and Thomas Evans, all of Brooklyn, NY; one aunt, May Katherine Robinson of Greenville, SC; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
