Mr. Basheer Shahid Robinson, 53, of Oakland, California, passed on Monday, January 10, 2022, in San Francisco, CA. Born in Bronx, New York, he was a son of Leola Clement Robinson of SC House of Representatives and the late William Thomas Robinson.
Surviving, in addition to his mother: his wife, Chantell Smartt Robinson; a daughter, Rasheera Dopson Robinson, of Atlanta, GA; a stepdaughter, Erica Smartt, of Vallejo, CA; a son, Shabaka Omari Robinson, of Phoenix, AR; one sister, Dr. Aminah Richburg, of Mauldin, SC; three brothers, Hassan (Tasha) Robinson, of Simpsonville, SC; Shakir Robinson, of Greenville, SC, and William Talib (Natasha) Robinson, of Atlanta, GA; two uncle, James Robinson Brentwood, TN and Waajid Family of Atlanta, GA; one aunt, Shirley Hill, of Sumter SC; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, January 30, 2022, 12:00 Noon, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
