Barryl Sloan

Mr. Barryl D. “Moonie” Sloan, 49, of 207 Echols Street, Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Friday, January 19, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. He was the son of James “Pop” Arnold and late Marilyn Gail Gambell. “Moonie” was a graduate of Eastside High School.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Gail Gamble; his grandparents, Marion and Pearl Sloan; an aunt, Mattie Faye Sloan; an uncle, Marion Sloan, Jr.; and a cousin, Ledrekius “Lee” Sloan.

Left to cherish many find memories are his father, James “Pop” Arnold of Greer; two daughters, Kamisha Reeves of Greenville,Natasha Smith of Easley. two brothers, James A. Davis and Steve Davis; six aunts, Wanda Sloan and Vanessa Freeman, both of Brooklyn, NY, Phyllis Beeks, Pearlie Sloan, Roberta Sloan and Cheryl Massey of Greenville; three uncles, Stanley Sloan and Barry Sloan, both of Greenville and Rodney Sean Sloan of Dallas, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
