Mrs. Barbara Cason, 77, of 10 McAlister Road, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Stella Lay. She loved spending time with her children.
Surviving: a loving husband; Herbert Cason of the home: a daughter; Tanya Leigh of Greenville: sisters; Shirley (Clyde) Jackson and Catherine Leigh, both of Waynesville, NC; brothers: William (Alice) Leigh of Columbus, OH, Sylvester (Lula Bell) Leigh of Waynesville, NC, and Gary (Edith) Leigh of Augusta, GA: three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Saturday, April 19, 2014, 1:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
