In Loving Memory of Roman Terrell Means

April 30, 2024 – May 11, 2025

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our precious Roman Terrell

Means, who brought immeasurable light into the world during his brief but beautiful time with

us.

Born on April 30, 2024, Roman was a radiant soul whose presence was felt by everyone lucky

enough to meet him. Though small in stature, he had a heart and personality larger than life.

Roman had a special love for food—he joyfully devoured everything in sight, much to the

delight of those around him. He required a cool drink and a snack when he got home from

school. His mother, Chyna, affectionately called him “Chicken Nuggies,” “Boomba,” and “Roly

Poly,” nicknames that captured his sweet, snuggly nature and ever-hungry spirit.

Roman’s days were filled with laughter, love, and the joy of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, one of his

favorite shows. He had a signature one-legged scoot/crawl that could brighten any room and

leave everyone wondering how he moved so fast. His favorite companion, Mr. Bee, was never

far from his side—an inseparable friend to a boy who already knew how to cherish the little

things.

Roman’s smile was infectious—wide, pure, and filled with a joy that touched everyone he

encountered. He brought comfort, laughter, and a deep sense of love to his family and all who

met him. His light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved him deeply.

Though his time here was far too short, Roman made a lasting impact. He reminded us of the

beauty in small things, the sweetness of a shared smile, the gift of his signature side eye, and the

importance of love given freely and without condition.

Roman is survived by his loving mother, Chyna, and a family who cherished him beyond

measure. his maternal grandparents, Sommer Posley Lunyell (Pooh) Posley, paternale grandparents, Deanna Byrd Means and Christopher Means. His memory will live on through every giggle and old man's cough we hear, every

whispered “I love you,” every Take a Look Around line that is said, every snap we give, every

time we hear 'Thank you for Being a Friend,” and in the countless hearts forever changed by his

presence.

Fly high, sweet Roman. We know you are at peace in Nannah’s arms. You will always be our

sunshine.
