Apostle Samuel Dillard, Sr., 87, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013. Born in Greenville, he was one of eighteen children of the late Elder Thom and Delia Williams Dillard. He was the National Representative of the United House of Prayer For All People. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Apostle Dillard was preceded in death by his son, Robert.
Left to cherish loving memories is his wife of 70 years, Mrs. Betty J. Gains Dillard; sons, Deacon Samuel Dillard, Jr. and Javen Dillard; grandson, raised in the home, Deacon Timothy E. Dillard; sister, Louvenia Fair.
Apostle Dillard was preceded in death by his son, Robert.
