Ms. Annie Vernell Johnson

Mrs. Annie Vernell Johnson, 72, of Travelers Rest, wife of Morris Johnson, Jr., passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Iallus, Sr. and Viola C. Williams.

Surviving: three daughter, Annie Marie Johnson of Piedmont, SC, Pamela (John) Alexander of Spartanburg, SC and Melinda Johnson Butler of the home; two sister, Julia Mae Irby of Piedmont, SC and Vilora Blakely of Greenville, SC; three brothers, Fred Irby of Piedmont, SC, Iallus Irby, Jr., of Spartanburg, SC and Henry Irby of Piedmont, SC; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday, September 14, 2024, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
