Mrs. Annette S. McGowan, 84, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at St. Francis Downtown. She was the daughter of the late Sara R. Lay Simpson. She was the wife of the late John Robert McGowan.
She was a retired from Greenville Memorial Hospital where she worked for over 50 years.
She is survived by her sons, William (Brenda) McGowan of Travelers Rest, SC and John Robert McGowan of Greenville, SC; sisters, Genevieve “Genny” (James “Twine” ) Thompson of Powdersville, SC, Patricia Cason of Liberty, SC and Florence Rosemond of Easley, SC; brother, Robert Simpson of Powdersville, SC; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
