Mrs. Angela Milliam

Mrs. Angela “Angel” Milliam of Clarkston, Georgia, passed away on Friday February 7, 2025. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, on March 4, 1960, she was the daughter of Johnnie Mae and the late William Milliam, Jr.

Angela was blessed with two children, Marcus Cherry and Lisa Cherry, of Clarkston, Georgia. She was also a proud grandmother to Marcus Jr., Mariyah, and Nylah.

She grew up in Nicholtown and was known as the life of the party until illness affected her in the last few years.

Angela is survived by her beloved mother, Johnnie Mae Milliam, of Mauldin, SC; her sister, Deborah, of Mauldin, SC; and her brothers, Varan of Philadelphia, Demetrius of Mauldin, SC, and Jack of Atlanta, GA. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary. Graveside Burial Service on Wednesday, February 19, at 11:00 AM at Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain, GA 30083.
