Mr. Alvin “Sonny Boy” Hood, 60, of Taylors, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Greenville Health System. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Alvin Hood and Gladys Helen Brown Croft.
Surviving: one son, Alvin Lawrence of Greenville; sisters, Rhoda (Alexander) Brown of Hilton Head and Vanessa Doctor of Greenville; two grandchildren, Alexzia D. Lawrence and Aniya R. Lawrence; loving companion, Linda Hood of Greenville and a host of other relatives and friends.
