Mr. Alfred R. Barksdale, 67, of 22 Rosemond Drive, Greenville, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at home. Born in Greenville, he was the son of Mildred Wood Barksdale and the late Alfred Barksdale, Sr.
Surviving, in addition to his mother; former wife Joyce Barksdale of Easley; special friend, Dianne Gary of the home; daughters, Renea Barksdale and Tomeka Barksdale; sons, Alfred Barksdale, III and Albert Barksdale; and brother, Albert Roy Barksdale, all of Greenville; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Monday, January 12, 2015, 2:00 PM, Lowndes Hill Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
