Mr. A. Joe Pendergrass, 83, of 1 Lucille Avenue, Greenville passed on Friday, July 15, 2016, at home. Born in Liberty, SC, he was the son of the late Ed Pendergrass and Willie Mae Pendergrass.
Surviving: daughters, Carolyn (Bob) Jone of Fayetteville, GA, Shirley Hackett of Raleigh, NC, and Deborah Ross of Greenville; son, Eddie Pendergrass of Greenville; sisters, Mozell Austin of Greensboro, NC and Thannel (Henry) Jamison of Simpsonville; seventeen grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
