Mr. Alcestis Orestes Thompson

Alcestis “Al” Orestes Thompson was born August 31, 1957, in Greenville, South Carolina, a son of Betty A. Thompson and the late Irvin Thompson, Jr. He departed this life on October 13, 2024.

He leaves to cherish many memories: his children, Shereesa Thompson, Jason Thompson, and Micah Thompson, all of Kansas City, Missouri, and Jamila Thompson and Nandi Thompson, both of Memphis, Tennessee; his brother, Irvin Jerome Thompson; two sisters, Theodora Thompson of Greenville, South Carolina, and Georgenia Thompson of Pontiac, Michigan; five grandchildren; aunts; an uncle; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues. 

Funeral Services: Saturday. October 26, 2024, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
