Mrs. Willie Ruth Butler, 82, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Prisma Healthcare. Born in Toccoa, GA, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Lillian Payne Neal. She was the wife of Horace L. Butler, Sr. for 35 years.
Surviving: two sons, Horace (Lynn) Butler, Jr., of Simpsonville, SC, and Stephen (Fajaya) Butler of Greenville, SC; one daughter, Anita Butler Walker of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Mattie (William) McIntyre of Piedmont, SC, Linda (William) Wright of Easley, SC, and Bessie (Robert) Kemp of Central, SC; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 27, 2022, 1:00pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
