Mr. William E. “Bill” Blassingame, 83, passed March 3, 2021, at Prisma Health. He was a son of the late Milton Alexander and Lola Wofford.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Dewey and Mable Blassingame; and his wife, Margaret Wilson Blassingame.
Surviving: one daughter, S. Renee Cummings of Greenville, SC; one son, Apostle Bryan Blassingame of the home; one sister, Betty Merrit of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Ray Wofford of Baltimore, MD; one granddaughter, Loren (Brett) Chesnut of Atlanta, GA; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jordyn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Service: Saturday, March 13, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Due to Covid-19 maximum capacity in Chapel is 50 people or less.
