Mr. Sammie Lee "Skip" Nelson, 70, of Greenville, South Carolina passed on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Clarendon County, he was the son of the late Archie, Sr., and Mary Graham Nelson.
Surviving: one son; Samuel Nelson of Anchorage, AL; a sister; Barbara Darley of Alcolu, SC; a niece; Sandra Nelson of Sumter, SC; caregiver; Marshall Carter of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 3:30pm, at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with Interment on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 1:00pm, at M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery
