Mrs. Samantha Elizabeth Young "Sam" Thomas, 27, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at her residence. Born in Austin, Texas, she was a daughter of Mary Elizabeth Young McDowell.

Mrs. Thomas was the wife to the late Jerrell DaVarius Thomas.

In addition to her mother, Samantha is survived by Michael Duncan who was like a father to her; her sisters, Melissa Young, Savannah Young, Ashley Young, Brittany Young, Ashley M. Young, Quintisheyia Young, Cassandra Young, Julia Young, all of Greenville, SC, Drucella Young of Alabama, Autumn Lecompte of Houston, TX, Melyssa Young, Alyssa Young and Simiyah Young, Brooke Young and Pi’Quari Young, all of the home, her brothers, Michael (Shoinette) Young, Torey (Denise) Young and Jacob Young, all of Greenville, SC, Martin Young and Isaiah Young, both of Baytown, TX, Reid Lecompte, Quinn Lecompte, Landon Lecompte, all of Houston, TX, and Jerrell Parks, of the home; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Monday, April 10, 3:00 pm, Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with private interment.
