Evangelist Ruby McKinney was born in Greenville County, South Carolina on July 25, 1922 to the late Asberry Clifton and Clarkie Sullivan Agnew. She departed this life on January 13, 2021.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was predeceased by her sons, John Wesley “JW” and Clifton McArthur “Mac” McKinney, a granddaughter, Cynthia Denise McKinney and a grandson Clifton McArthur McKinney, Jr.
Left to continue her legacy and cherish her memories are two granddaughters, who she raised as her daughters, Marsha (Adam) Campbell, of Easley, South Carolina, and Angela (Gerald) Lake, of Taylors, South Carolina. Because of her love of family and for children she became a foster mother and raised seven foster children along with her two great - grandsons Rodrigus McKinney and Amos Valentine, III. She also leaves behind seven other grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, twenty-seven great-great grandchildren, one great-great-great grandchild, Brownie (her dog), a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Service: Saturday, January 23, 2021, 12:00 pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens. (2:30pm)
