Octavia Scott

Ms. Octavia J. Scott, 81, of Mauldin, transitioned into eternity on Monday, April 12, 2021, at her residence. Born in Athens, GA and a native of Knoxville, TN, she was a daughter of the late George and Callie Johnson.

She is survived by her five daughters, Marcella Johnson, Felicia Johnson, Callie Evans, and Tangela Johnson, all of Greenville, SC and Shinita (Michael) Wright of Mauldin, SC; four sons, Michael Johnson of McCormick, SC, Gary (Joann) Long of Athens, GA, Willis “Willie” Johnson of Knoxville, TN, and Johnny Scott of Athens, GA; two sisters, Mary Frances Ellis of Knoxville, TN, Ophelia Johnson of Athens, GA; twenty-one grandchildren including two grandchildren, Kowanika Wright and Kiana Wright reared in the home; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends
