Mrs. Lydia Mae Brown Sweeney, 70, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at Prisma Health, Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Zeno Brown and the late Flora Sullivan Brown Harris.
She was married to Mr. Harley Sweeney for 53 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Shinetta Sweeney of Atlanta, GA and Natalie (Marvin) Bostic of Simpsonville, SC; one grandchild, Zaniyah Bostic; one sister, Dorothy (Willie) Clinkscales of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Wallace (Margaret) Brown and Pastor Larry (Pastor Dolores) Brown, both of Greenville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Monday, January 2, 2022, 1:00pm, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with entombment, Cannon Memorial Park, Ft. Inn, SC.
