Mrs. Lorene Young, 97, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Mattie Dixon McDonald. She was the widow of Robert
“R. Z.” Zona Young.
Surviving: four daughters, Evelyn Pepper of Greenville, SC, Sandra (Jerry) Walton of Piedmont, SC, Brenda (Rev. Harold) Garlington of Simpsonville, SC and Loretta Young of Greenville, SC; three sons, Apostle Cedric Young, Marcus Young and Steve Young, all of Greenville, SC; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, July 16, 2022, 2:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
