Mrs. Lizzie Mae Manigan Wardlaw, 91, of Greenville, South, passed Saturday, October 29, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Mordecia and Christine Duckett Manigan.
She was married to the late James R.D. Wardlaw, Jr. for 70 years.
Surviving: two daughters, Eleanor Riggins of Greenville, SC, and Minister Diane McGowan of Simpsonville, SC; two sons, James (Pamela) Wardlaw of Greenville, SC, and Timothy (Daisy) Wardlaw of Simpsonville, SC; five grandchildren, including Reco Hudgens and Natasha Bennett who were raised in the home; six great-grandchildren including Dy’Mon Bennett and Joshua Hudson who were raised in the home; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, November 6, 2022, 2:00pm, at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
