Linda Joyce Hood

Mrs. Linda Joyce Hood, 70, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Prisma Health, Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Annie Mae Montez McDaniel Washington.
She was raised by the late Willie Odell Washington, Sr.

Mrs. Hood was the wife of the late Carl F. Hood for 31 years.

Surviving: two daughters, Carleshia H. Long (Attia Long) of Piedmont, SC and Jennifer Hood of the home; two sisters, Tammie (Otis “OJ”) Fowler of Gray Court, SC and Lunita Brock of Piedmont, SC; two brothers, Willie Washington, Jr. and Charles Edward Washington both of Piedmont, SC; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, May 19, 2023, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in St. Matthew Baptist Church Cemetery, Piedmont SC.
