Mrs. Linda “Mema” Denise Johnson Jones 61, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Bennie and Pearlie Scott Johnson and the widow of the late James C. Jones, Sr.

Surviving: three daughters, Rhonda Johnson and Cassandra Starkes, both of Greenville, SC and Tomeaco (Raynard) Deatsvillee of Montgomery, AL; three sons, Michael (Sasha) Starkes and James Jones, Jr., both of Greenville, SC, and Rodney James Knight of Montgomery, AL; two sisters Cynthia (Charles) Cooper of Dothan, AL, and Valerie Johnson of Greenville, SC; one brother, Lance Michael Johson of Montgomery, AL; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

Funeral Services: Friday, March 10, 2023, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
