Minister Lillie Mae Tooney, 88, of Greenville, passed on Monday, February 22, 2021, at her home. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late George R. Brown and Lela Kennedy.
Surviving: two daughters, Lynda Tooney of the home and Patricia Phelps of McKinney, TX; one son, Ladd Phelps of Oakland, CA; a grandson reared in the home, Jeremiah C. Arnold; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Tuesday, March 9, 2021, Watkins Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
