Minister Lillie Mae Burton, 58, of Greenville, transitioned into eternity on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Conwell Hawkins and Lizze Washington.
She is survived by her husband, Minister David Burton; one daughter, Fredrica Wright of Greenville, SC; one son, Melvin (Courtney) Wright of Simpsonville, SC; one step-daughter, Keajah Henry of Austin, TX; one step-son, Isaiah Henry of Greenville, SC; three brothers, Rev. Randolph (Marcia) Hawkins of Simpsonville, SC and John Perry Thompson and Tommy Hawkins, both of Greenville, SC; two grandchildren, Journee Wright and Luca; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Service: Friday, May 7, 2021, 1:00 pm, at Piney Grove Baptist Missionary Church, with interment in Church Cemetery, Lyman SC.
