Mrs. L. Shantel Hunte, 73, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at her residence. Born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ernestine Dowd Powell. She was the wife of Harold Hunte for 41 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Justin Hunte of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, October 22, 2022, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Cypress Hillsl Cemetery, Brooklyn NY.
