Mr. John Dixie Davis, 80, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at his residence. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Leroy and Fannie Davis.
He was married to Mrs. Teresa Davies Davis for 59 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his only daughter, Nicola Davis-Bivens of Concord, North Carolina; close church family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his only grandson, Michael Nicolas Singleton.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, November 29, 2022, 1:00pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church with burial in Pinedale Memorial Park, Piedmont, SC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made to South Carolina State University, to support the Criminal Justice Fund at the SC State University Foundation.
