Mr. Joe Henry Austin, 88, of Easley, South Carolina passed on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at his residence. He was a son of the late Tommie Joe Austin, Sr., and Elizabeth Griffin Austin.
Surviving: one daughter, Joanne (Joel) Briscoe of Lanham, MD; two sons, Jeffrey Austin of Queens, NY, and Benny (Vicki) Sloan of Easley, SC; one sister, Clara Ladson of Simpsonville, SC; three brothers, Charles Alfred Austin, Tommie Joe Austin, Jr., and McDaniel Austin, Sr., all of Easley, SC; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Friday, July 22, 2022, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley SC.
