Mr. Jeffrey Jerome Henderson, 52, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his residence. Born in Laurens, South Carolina, he was a biological son of the late Fred Davis and Elnora Shumate and was adopted by Minnie Pearl Davis Henderson.
Surviving: his wife of 31 years, Yolanda Clark Henderson, of the home; one daughter, April Henderson, of Simpsonville, SC; three sisters, Donna Shumate, of Laurens SC, Eula (Casper) Boyd, of Fountain Inn, SC, and Avis Shumate, of Greenwood, SC; one brother, Mike Shumate, of Laurens, SC; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, May 15, 2022, 6:00pm, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment on Monday, May 23, 2022, 1:00pm, in M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
