James Smith

Mr. James A. Smith, 85, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life to go to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. He was a son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Smith and Rosa Lee Gaines Smith Boyd.
He was a retired supervisor of the C.F. Sauer Company (Duke Mayonnaise) and was a faithful member of the Young Laymen CME Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Carolyn Elaine Smith; a brother, Theodore Smith, Jr.; and two sisters, Lure Williams and Cora Lee Smith.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his wife, Christine Brockman Smith; one grandson, Aundray Smith of Greenville; one great-grandchild, Shanice Evans of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
