Mr. James Henry Chapman, 80, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passes on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at St. Francis, Downtown. He was the son of the late Fred and Carrie Rucker Chapman.
He was married to Mrs. Shirley Smith Chapman for 56 years.
Surviving: one son, Adrian B. (Inga) Chapman of Lawrenceville, GA; one daughter, Jamie L. Chapman of Piedmont, SC; two children/sisters raised in the home, Lizzie Bonnie (Junior) Williams of Seneca, SC, and Ida Workman (Michael) Jackson of Greer, SC; one sister, Dorethea (Alton) Spurgeon of Taylors, SC; four grandchildren; and a host of other close relatives and friends.
Visitation: Saturday, September 10, 2022, 1:00pm, at Reedy Fork Baptist Church.
Funeral Service: Saturday, September 10, 2022, 1:30pm, at Reedy Fork Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
