Mr. James Henry Booker, 70, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Prisma Health. Born in Laurens County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late James Roy Barksdale and Minnie Booker Williams.
Surviving: his wife of 41 years, Betty Fuller Booker; one daughter, Tonya Booker of Simpsonville, SC; one son, Brunson Booker of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Mary (Larry) Archie of Syracuse, NY; Alice Wenstley of Oswego, NY, Betty (Harold) McPhail and Brenda Barksdale, both of Greenville, SC; three brothers, Michael Williams of Syracuse, NY, Leroy Barksdale and William Barksdale both of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Service: Thursday, October 13, 2022, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Flat Ruff Baptist Church Cemetery, Gray Court SC.
