Howard Griffin

Mr. Howard Allen Griffin, 62, of Greenville, South Carolina, transitioned into eternity on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. He was a son of the late Cordell, Sr., and Lena Griffin.

He was proceeded in death by his wife: Joni Griffin.

He is survived by four daughters, Isina Griffin of Greenville, SC, Shondrea Ware of Laurens, SC, Catrina (Kevin Dawson) Willoughby of Greenville, SC, Ida Harlson of Charlotte, NC; two sons, George Willoughby and James L. Sullivan, both of Greenville, SC; six sisters, Irene Griffin, Cynthia Renea Griffin, Willie Ruth Thomason, Melissa Drummond, and Nellie Brock, all of Greenville, SC and Mary A Singleton of New York, NY; five brothers, David Griffin of Greenville, SC, Eugene (Vanessa) Thomason of Winston Salem, NC, Alvin (Lisa) Shell of Simpsonville, SC, Cordell Griffin, Jr. of Greenville, SC and Michael Thomason of NC a special friend, LaCarole Garrett of Greenville, SC; twenty- three grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside Service: Thursday, April 15, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
