Mrs. Gladys Simpson Gray, 89, of Greenville, South Carolina, widow of the late Bennie Lee Gray, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Waldorf, Maryland. Born in Greenville County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Nannie Mae Cooper Simpson.
Mrs. Gray is survived by her two daughters, Molly Bruster of Waldorf, MD and Barbara (Michael) Hale of Chattanooga, TN; two sisters, Minnie Lee Whitehead and Esther Mae Johnson both of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, January 3, 2023, 1:00pm, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, with interment in Church Cemetery.
