Mrs. Eugenia “Genie” Sherman Latimore, 71, passed Sunday, February 21, 2021, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Reverend A.B. and Elizabeth Carter Sherman.
Surviving: one daughter, Elder Taiwana (Elder Ronald) McKinney of the home; five sisters, Evangelist Mary Miller of Greenville, SC, Rev. Clorine Redmond of Columbia, SC, Sadie (William) Johnson of Greenville, SC, Beatrice (Rev. Ralph) Hawthorne of Greenville, SC and Geneva (Tobe) Sizemore of Piedmont, SC; three brothers, Rev. Gary (Pamela) Sherman of Landrum, SC, Jimmy (Mildred) Sherman of Columbia, SC and Harry (Patsy) Sherman of Malad, Idaho; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other
relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, February 27, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Valley Brook Outreach Baptist Church with interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
