Mr. Charles Leonard Brown, Sr., 85, of Duncan, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at McCall Hospice House. Born in Indian Head, Charles County Maryland, he was the son of the late Walter Lemule Brown and Margaret Ford Brown Greer.
Surviving are Deborah Brown of Taylors, SC: two sons, Charles Brown, Jr. (Marsha Benjamin) of Taylors, SC, and Manuel Blade (Lisa Kilby) of Simpsonville, SC; one stepson, James Pearson of Taylors, SC; two daughters, Toya Brown of Duncan, SC and Vakkita (Arlo) Workman of Taylors, SC; one sister, Dorothy (David) Mason of Waldorf, MD; one brother, Walter Brown of MD; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Monday, August 15, 2022, 11:30am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
