Pastor Archie McHerring, Jr., 70, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born in Ragland, Alabama, he was the son of the late Archie, Sr., and Martha Lucille Miller McHerring.
Surviving: his wife of 19 years, Carolyn Jones McHerring; seven daughters, Lisa McHerring of Greenville, SC, Sonya (David) Nelson of Atlanta, GA, Artrell (James) McKinney of Greenville, SC, Christle Robinson of Mauldin, SC, Audra (Patrick) Sanders and Sawanda Woody of Greenville, SC, Catrena (Lorenzo) West of Jacksonville, FL; one stepdaughter, Shana Jones of Greenville, SC; three sons, Archie McHerring and Adrian McHerring both of Greenville, SC and Avion (Kimberly) Ballenger of Taylors, SC; one stepson, Willie (Shirley) Hill of Greenville, SC; one sister, Annie Bell Richie of Easley, SC; twenty-five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, March 27, 2022, 2:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
