Mrs. Alfreda McGowan Stokes, 71, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at McCall Hospice House. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Barbara Neil Heyward McGowan.
Surviving: four sons, Shun (Lee) Stokes of Powdersville, SC, Thomas (Bridgette) Stokes of Piedmont, SC, Ronald Stokes of Piedmont, SC and Kenta (LeKenya) Stokes of Travelers, SC; three sisters, Donnette (Claude) Jones of Greenville, SC, Thomasina McIntyre of Fountain Inn, SC and Angerena (Clifford) McKinney of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Steve McGowan of Greenville, SC and Wilburn McGowan of Piedmont, SC; twenty grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Tuesday, November 22, 2022, 11:00am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
