Mr. Albert L. “Big Al” Freeman, Jr., 90, of Greenville, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Washington, Georgia to the late Albert L., Sr and Willie Lee Mays Freeman.
He is survived by one daughter, Roselyn Freeman-White of Greenville, SC; one son, Albert L. (Rosalyn) Freeman III of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Dorothy Howard of Greer, SC and Nancy Brown of Detroit, MI; a special cousin, Jessie Fletcher of Greenville, SC; a special nephew and caregiver, Raymond Gibbs of Greer, SC; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, June 12, 2021, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment Monday, June 14, 2021, 1:00pm in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson SC.
