Mr. Charles Franklin Burdine, was born on January 12, 1947 in Greenville, SC and departed this life on Friday, October 27, 2006 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. He was the son of the late Charles Burdine and Malvina Ledbetter Burdine.

At an early age he joined the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, a graduate of Sterling High School Class of 1966 and employed by the City of Enfield Connecticut as a truck driver.

He leaves to cherish many fond memories his sisters, Mary L. Irby of Columbia, SC, Wilma Bowens of Birmingham. AL, Josie Burdine, Denise Johnson, Beverly Jean Burdine and Dianne Burdine all of Greenville, SC; brothers, Freddie Eugene, Percy C. and Rev. J.R. Burdine, Sr. all of Greenville, SC and Bishop A.L. Burdine of Easley, SC and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
